Place eggs in a large pot and cover with cold water at least one-inch above the eggs. Heat the water to boiling; Remove from heat, cover and let stand 3 minutes for soft boiled, 8 minutes for medium boiled and 15 minutes for hard boiled. Immediately drain eggs and place in ice water bath to cool. Peel eggs when ready to eat.
