Maple Glazed Salmon
Ingredients
- ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ⅛ teaspoon ground red pepper
- 4 - 6 ounce skinless salmon fillets
- Cooking spray
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- Lemon wedges
- For the Broccoli: 1 lb broccoli floret
- salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions
- Preheat broiler or grill to high.
- Combine garlic powder, salt, paprika, and ground red pepper; sprinkle evenly over salmon fillets.
- Arrange fillets on a foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
- Broil 5-10 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- Alternatively, place salmon fillets on cedar planks that have been soaked in water for at least and hour.
- Grill on high for 10-15 minutes, until the middle is cooked through.
- Drizzle maple syrup over fillets; broil 1 minute or until desired degree of doneness.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
