Kimberly's Lemon Bars


Ingredients

  • For the Crust:
    • 1 cup butter
    • 2 cups flour
    • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • For the Custard:
    • 4 eggs well beaten
    • 2 cups sugar
    • ¼-⅓ cup lemon juice
    • ½ cup flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

  1. Mix butter, flour and powdered sugar. Press firmly into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake exactly 15 minutes at 350°F. (Crust will not brown)
  2. Combine other ingredients and beat well. Pour over crust (let crust cool slightly first.)
  3. Bake 25 minutes at 350°.
  4. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
