Crockpot Cream Cheese Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 - ⅔ ounce package Italian salad dressing mix
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 - 10 ½ ounce can cream of chicken soup
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
Directions
- Place chicken breast in crock pot with the chicken broth and Italian seasoning.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a sauce pan and sauté onion and garlic.
- Remove chicken from crock pot and shred.
- Add Cream of Chicken Soup and cream cheese to crock pot with broth.
- Whisk until smooth.
- Add shredded chicken to crock pot and cook on low for an additional hour.
- Serve over pasta or rice.
