Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds chicken breast, cut into thin strips
- 12 ounces linguine, cooked al dente
- 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 thinly sliced green onions
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup milk (2% or whole)
- ⅓ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- Place chicken and Cajun seasonings in a bowl and toss to coat.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter in pan and sauté chicken until it is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Reduce heat and add green onions, heavy cream, milk, tomatoes and seasonings.
- Stir together and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add linguine to sauce and toss to coat.
- Serve with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
