Maple Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

¾ teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon kosher salt ½ teaspoon smoked paprika ⅛ teaspoon ground red pepper 4 - 6 ounce skinless salmon fillets Cooking spray 2 tablespoons maple syrup Lemon wedges

For the Broccoli: 1 lb broccoli floret salt, to taste 2 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 clove garlic, minced 1 teaspoon lemon zest 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes 



Directions

Preheat broiler or grill to high. Combine garlic powder, salt, paprika, and ground red pepper; sprinkle evenly over salmon fillets. Arrange fillets on a foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Broil 5-10 minutes. Remove from oven. Alternatively, place salmon fillets on cedar planks that have been soaked in water for at least and hour. Grill on high for 10-15 minutes, until the middle is cooked through. Drizzle maple syrup over fillets; broil 1 minute or until desired degree of doneness. Serve with lemon wedges.
