Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

1 ½ pounds chicken breast, cut into thin strips 12 ounces linguine, cooked al dente 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning 4 tablespoons butter 3 thinly sliced green onions 1 cup heavy whipping cream ½ cup milk (2% or whole) ⅓ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes ¾ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon dried basil ½ teaspoon ground black pepper ½ teaspoon garlic powder ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions

Place chicken and Cajun seasonings in a bowl and toss to coat. Heat a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter in pan and sauté chicken until it is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Reduce heat and add green onions, heavy cream, milk, tomatoes and seasonings. Stir together and simmer for 5 minutes. Add linguine to sauce and toss to coat. Serve with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
