Buttercream Icing
- 1/2 cup hot water (use to dissolve salt)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon clear vanilla
- 1 1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
- 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring (clear)
- Dash of salt
- 2 cups shortening
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 pounds powdered sugar
Put all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and slowly add liquids. Be sure to scrape bottom of bowl at least once during mixing.
