Boiled Shrimp

Ingredients: 2 lbs shrimp Ice or cold water

Optional herbs: 3-4 bay leaves 3 tbsp old bay seasoning pinch of cayenne 2 tsp black peppercorns 0.5 garlic head, halved crosswise 5 sprigs fresh parsley 1 cup apple cider vinegar 1 lemon, halved

Steps: Bring large pot half full of water to boil. If desired, add herbs and simmer for 10 minutes. Squeeze and add lemon after simmering. Add 2 lbs shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until just barely pink. They may float to the top. Do not overcook. Strain out shrimp and rinse with cold water. De-vein and serve.
