Beef Stroganoff I

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1-2 cups sliced mushrooms, optional
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken condensed soup
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

Directions

  • In a large frying pan, brown ground beef with onion.
  • Add mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are tender.
  • Stir in can of soup and mix thoroughly; add sour cream and heat until hot, but do not boil.
  • Serve over hot rice or egg noodles.
